Travel Insurance
Essential Greece requires that all our guests are covered by travel insurance. It is our guests responsibility to make sure that they are comprehensively insured prior to travelling. We Essential Greece, KARYDIS ATEE and any related third parties are not responsible for any guests who travel without taking out travel insurance.
If you cancel your Holiday
If you or any member of your travel party wish to cancel their holiday at any time, we must be notified of this in writing. We will apply cancellation charges from the day we receive your notification, as detailed below:

Cancellation 60-89 days 50%
Cancellation 20-59 days 75%
Cancellation 19 days or less than departure 100%
NB Administrative and credit card charges are non-refundable
If you change your holiday/Administrative fees
Any changes to initial bookings, after confirmation invoice has been signed, will be subject to a charge of £15 / 22€ per person, and we must receive written notification from the person who signed the initial booking form.
Examples: if you wish to change your travel date, or accommodation we will try our utmost to make this changes for you, however these changes must be within 12 weeks of departure, otherwise you will be subject to cancellation fees.
Please also note that any flight reservations that you have made will be a totally separate contract, and therefore is subject to that operator's own booking condition.
If we cancel your holiday
We reserve the right to cancel your holiday if:
a) The final balance is not paid on time
b) *Force Majeure
If we change your holiday
Occasionally we have to make minor changes to you accommodation arrangements, however if we are forced to change your resort, or accommodation you will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements from us or cancelling the arrangements and receive a full refund of all monies paid. In all cases, except changes due to *Force Majeure, we will pay compensation as detailed below.

*Force Majeure Compensation will not be payable if we are forced to cancel or change your holiday arrangements in any way for reasons due to war, threat of war, rioting, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity and it's consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances amounting from Force Majeure.
Termination & Breakages/damage
Whilst on holiday responsibility must be accepted for the proper conduct of your party, we reserve the right to terminate your holiday in cases of serious misconduct. Furthermore, if any member of the party wilfully, negligently or recklessly causes any damage to accommodation, which is not reported and paid for during your stay, we reserve the right to charge for this after your departure. |
